The apartment overlooks a traditional patio of fountains and flowers and has a charming terrace with a view of the mountians. The apartment is on the first floor and has the benefit of a lift, it is well equipped including satelitte tv,wi fi Internet,washing machine and microwave. The apartment is very close to the pools, shops restaurants, bus stop, and other services.

Nerja is about 45 minutes drive from Malaga, famous for it's caves. It still retains much of it's Spanish charm and is known as a pretty cosmopolitan town of small streets and a wide selection of bars and restaurants. It has several beaches and is surrounded by mountains. Nerja is only 5km from the picturesque white town of Frilgliana, and makes an excellent base for exploring other parts of Andalucia.

Capistrano Village is a beautiful Andalucian style pueblo of white houses and pretty garden walkways. There are superb outdoor pools with views to the sea and the mountains. The complex provides restaurants, bars, shops, laundry and ATM services. Burriana beach and Nerja town centre are within walking distance, and there is a regular bus service to and from the complex.

Ski:

Spain's number one location for winter sports, the Sierra Nevada is located just two hours away from the Costa del Sol. Located above Granada, it has the best snow and the longest season in the country. One can look forward to five months of snow. Sierra Nevada has 61km of ski slopes with 45 pistes and 6 off-piste routes. There are 2 cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts. The ski resort is open from 9am to 5pm although you can ski at night at

Apartment Capistrano Village

The apartment in El Capistrano Village is very clean, the host is very friendly and helpful. We were there with an 1 year old baby and we had a problem with the floor. When the floor was wet it was very slippery and the baby couldn't walk. When you need someting everything is on walking distance (supermarket, pool, restaurant). In the apartment were also al lot of things you needed. Nerja, Frigiliana, Torrox and all the other white villages are so typical spanish you must see them. Also the Sierra Nevada was more than amazing!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

Enjoyed our week in Nerja and found the apartment as describe, very clean and well equipped
Loved the pool and delighted to by the swallows.

Stayed in this apartment for one week, loved Capistrano village. The pool was top class and we couldnt have been closer to it. Quite warm but it was July and the ceiling fans helped alot even though there was no air con. The apartment and its location was as described if not better. Very well equiped. The owner provided an excellent service before my vist and was available to answer all queries promptly.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Apartment 10 El Capistrano Village

Having used this apartment several times, I have no hestitation in recommending it. The apartment is lovely, has all mod cons but it still feels Spanish and it has the original windows and doors for you to step out onto the balcony, which has a great view. The apartment is brilliantly situated for all that Nerja has to offer and the pool's great for lazy days too. There is a fantastic restaurant on burriana beach (approx 15 mins walk) El Moreno which we always go to on each visit. The beach itself is a generous size and very clean and the old town of Nerja (half an hour walk) has retained it's unique Spanish charm unlike many of the coastal towns. If you hire a car, you only need to drive for 10 mins and you're into serious rural countryside, there's loads of beautiful little villages worth visiting, only a short drive away. Looking forward to returning to the village soon!

Review of El Capistrano apartment

This was our first family visit to Nerja and the resort totally lived up to our expectations. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and with excellent amenities. In a perfect location for both the beach and swimming pool, the apartment also has lovely restaurants, bars and shops within easy reach. The owners have modernised the property to a high standard whilst maintaining a typically Spanish theme throughout. The owners were very easy to contact and we would not hesitate to recommend them. We look forward to returning to El Capistrano again.
