A little further afield you'll find the Futuroscope near Poitiers, the Marais Poitevin ("Green Venice") and the Loire Valley with its famous wines & Châteaux..Historic La Rochelle, with its picturesque harbour is well worth a visit. Wine produced by the owners,who have their own vineyard, offered on arrival.Home produced pineau makes a perfect aperitif, whilst relaxing by the pool.
