Villa Abajo is a beautiful, large family self-catering villa with a pool, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The gardens are mature with plenty of natural shade and the large private 10m pool has a roman end for gentle walk in to the pool. It has an infinity edge so you can see the sea whilst swimming! The main terrace is large and there are also two further terraces (also overlooking the sea) away from the pool. There is also a brilliant brick-built out-door barbeque. Upstairs is a bathroom, large living space with wood-burning stove and dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with large fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave. The upstairs also has a large balcony, overlooking the stunning views of the beach and sea. The villa has 4 bedrooms; 2 doubles; both with access to pool (one with en-suite) and 2 twins. These are situated downstairs together with a large bathroom. The villa also has a washing machine and a television, video & DV.

Son Bou/San Jaime is arguably the most popular and desired resort in Menorca. With its white sandy beach (the longest on the island) stretching along the south coast and crystal clear waters, it is popular among bathers, snorkelers and ramblers who can enjoy long walks to the headland. The beach and protected nature reserve offer wildlife and bird watching remaining unspoilt by development. It has many boutiques and restaurants, catering for both families and those who enjoy fine dining. The waterslides by the club provides endless fun for the children as does the maze. For those who want to dance the night away there is also a night club. Should you wish to surf the net there is an internet café. Everything is within walking distance, however, there is a local train/bus that drives around the resort which you can hop on and off. Always a favourite with the children. There are several supermarkets which stock everything you need. In short, Son Bou caters for everyone.

  • Bathroom 1 is situated downstairs next to the bedrooms. It is very large and is the main bathroom in the villa. It has a bath with a shower. Bathroom 2 is the ensuite bathroom for the large double bedroom, which has a shower. Bathroom 3 is upstairs and has a shower. There is also an outside shower by the pool.

  • The main double bedroom is large and has an en-suite with shower. It has doors out to the terrace and pool as well as large windows that open back with amazing views of the sea. It has a wardrobe with both hanging space and drawers. The second Double bedroom also has doors out to the terrace with lovely sea views. It has a large integral wardrobe with ample hanging space/shelves. There is also a chest of drawers. The main twin room has two big single beds, a large chest of drawers and a very big integral wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. This also has a window with sea views. The other twin room has two large singles, which can be put together to make a double. It has a window, which faces the lovely gardens and an integral wardrobe with hanging space.

Notes: The villa's gardens are stunning and beautifully kept. With plenty of natural shade and tucked away terraces (all with sea views) there is a space for everyone, whether they want to be close to the pool or read quietly under an olive tree. There is an outdoor brick built barbeque, which is always popular. The 10m pool has a roman end and an infinity edge, so you can see the sea whilst swimming. There are several sun-loungers and out-door tables and chairs. The large balcony, overlooking the pool and sea also has a lounger as well as table and chairs. A perfect spot for breakfast, drinks watching the sun go down and star gazing at night. Inside has a large living space with extremely comfortable corner sofa. The large dining area will seat 10 people. The kitchen is well equipped including traditional pots and pans for paella, Spanish omelets and salads. The villa has a local Menorcan feel. There are also toys/board games/Videos/DVDs, which guests are welcome to use.
