Toca do Mocho is a friendly family run establishment, ideal for the old & young alike, perfect for families with children of all ages - with kiddy friendly pools and toys. For the younger members of the family we have available cots, highchairs, bottle sterilisers, changing mat, buggy and babysitting too.
Equally attractive to golfers as we are a short car journey from all of the well known superb golf courses throughout the Algarve and even the equally good courses in Southern Spain.
Within a short drive from Toca do Mocho there is a large diversity of countryside and coastline environment, that offer splendid habitat for a very large variety of bird species. The Ria Formosa nature reserve is within a short driving distance where the park extends for about 60Km and is situated directly on the route of birds migrating between Africa and northern Europe.
Within around 20 mins you can be at the beautifully clean sandy beaches at Faro, the long beach and seafront promenade at Quarteira and Vilamoura, Tavira's 10km-long island with its sheltered bathing, and the vast broad sweep of golden sand at Monte Gordo.
As we are on site and therefore on hand at all times, we are able to offer babysitting & laundry services, recommend things to see & places to go, and restaurants to enjoy. We can also prepare freshly cooked meals for you if required, delivering them to your door for breakfast, lunch & dinner from our varied menus, to ensure that you all relax & enjoy your holiday to the full.
Our shaped 15 x 8m swimming pool is 1m around all edges, deepening in the centre - making it ideal for children or non-swimmers, we also have a baby/toddler pool for the younger members of the family or the adults who just want to paddle! Around the pools we have laid astro-turf which makes it soft under foot, surrounding the pools and apartments are well beautiful and well maintained gardens.
