Cornwall holiday cottage: Liskeard

Watery Fowls offers comfortable accommodation for up to six people, with two double rooms and one twin bedroom. Duvets, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental cost. Outside is space for your car and a small lawned garden, the boundary to which is the narrow River Seaton. The view from the rear of ’Watery Fowls’ is over the stream and into woodland. The patio at the front of the bungalow will be ideal for your ’al-fresco’ meals and drinks. The lounge has a leather two-seater sofa and easy chairs for all guests, along with a T.V. (with Freeview channels) and a DVD player. There are plenty of games for the children (and the not so young!), as well as a file packed full of ideas for your days out in the beautiful surrounding area. The well equipped kitchen includes an electric hob, grill and oven, a microwave oven and refrigerator, along with plenty of utensils. You will also have enough cutlery and crockery all six guests and one or two extra visitors.

The kitchen is also big enough to house the large dining table, plenty big enough to seat all six visitors. One of the double bedrooms and the twin bedroom overlook the stream and woods at the back of the property while the other double room overlooks the lawned area to the side. All three rooms have wardrobes and bedside tables and lamps. There are night-storage heaters in the lounge and in each bedroom and a portable radiator is also available. A small hall separates the bathroom and w.c. from the rest of the bungalow. The bathroom has a wash-basin and bath with overhead electric shower, heater and heated towel-rack. Electricity is paid for through a pound slot meter. There is no gas on site. As owners, we have taken care to create a comfortable and homely environment for your holiday. We regularly use the bungalow ourselves, with our two young children and we aim to make our visitors feel as ‘at home’ as we do.
