The house was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It was restored, but did not loose its orginal character. The grounds around the house are partly fenced and mostly wooded with oak trees and mediterranean vegetation. Nice cottage "Casina Lamacoppa", built in 1910, renovated, on the outskirts, 4 km from the centre of Ostuni, in a quiet, sunny position on top of a hill, in the countryside. Private: grounds 5 ha with lawn, plants and trees, barbecue house. Parking by the house. Grocers 4 km, sandy beach 11 km. Please note: car essential. Ostuni is known as the "White Town" and its houses are typical "Trulli" with round roofs and equally down to earth like the people themselves. Characteristic vegetation. Excursions to the Baroque town of Lecce about 75 km away. Selva di Fassano and safari-zoo 30 km, the grottos of Castellano about 50 km away. 5-room house 120 m2, on the ground floor, comfortable furnishings: living/dining room with TV. 1 room with 2 beds. 1 room with 1 double sofa bed. 1 double bedroom. Facilities: washing machine, telephone (extra), iron. There is a water pump in 1 of the 3 single rooms, behind the door, which could be a disturbance when the water flows. The bedroom with the double pull out bed is accessible from the inside and outside of the house though separate entrances. There is another kitchenette (2 hot plates).
