This pretty stone cottage circa 1740 has been lovingly restored to a high standard.It enjoys a peaceful setting amongst rolling hills and wooded farmland on the edge of the charming Charentaise village of Salles de Villefagnan. Harmonie is joined to the friendly owners own house by a spacious covered terrace, The perfect spot for al fresco dining whilst basking in the peace and beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Harmonie cottage shares over 2 acres with the owners home Domain de la courbee.as well as the shared terrace and boules pitch it also has its own small private garden with sun loungers and barbeque.The cottage inside is very comfortable having a cosy lounge dining area with english television & video and a nice fitted kithenette, also on the ground floor is the bathroom with bath wc and shower. The double bedroom is on the first floor and is reached by stairs.

Great host in a very relaxing setting

The host thought of everything and we appreciated his attention to detail. The setting is very rural but close to some interesting other villages. There are no shops or restaurants in the town.

The owner made us aware of some of the best places to eat in the area. The folder in the cottage was very helpful in finding other services.

I would give this place and the host an AAA+ rating. It really is a perfect setting in which to relax and unwind.
