Timberlake is an ideally situated French villa near Fayence and is accessed by a quiet tree lined road. It is situated in two acres of natural gardens. A large new swimming pool with sun soaked terraces is open from mid April until mid September. The villa is in an environmentally protected area with many species of wildlife. This idyllic setting provides an ideal holiday home in which to relax and is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area, from the mountain villages to the Mediterranean Sea. There are numerous French cafes, bars/tabacs, craft shops, and supermarkets within five minutes drive. Visit the many eating places providing not only French but Asian, Mexican, Italian and English cuisine. There are a number of golf courses in the region the nearest of which being the magnificent Four Seasons Terre Blanche which is 5 minutes drive from the villa. The villa has all the facilities for a tranquil, relaxing and stress free holiday or short break.

The Villa is situated within 5-10 minutes drive of the medieval villages of Fayence, Tourrettes, Callian, Montauroux and Seillans. Mons, the highest village in the immediate area at 814m, is well worth a visit. Fayence has one of the largest gliding centres in France. Lac de St Cassien with its many beaches provides facilities for swimming, windsurfing, sailing, pedalos and fishing. There are numerous restaurants along the lakeside. Walks, cycle rides, horseriding and various other activities are all available nearby. Beaches at Cannes, St Aygulf, Frejus Plage and St Raphael are within 30 minutes drive. St Tropez and Monaco are also within a reasonable drive from the villa and many of our guests have visited these famous resorts. Italy is not much further! The breathtaking Gorges du Verdon, is approximately 90 mins drive and is a sight not to miss. The gorge is popular for its rafting, canoeing and kayaking on the River Verdun.

  • Midweek arrivals and departures are welcome (Off peak only) to ensure your holiday is easier and more economical to arrange! If you are interested in a weekend/short break please contact the owners who will be pleased to try and accommodate your needs.



    Arrivals are strictly after 3.00 p.m. Departures by 10.00 a.m. These times allow for the thorough cleaning and changing of bedlinen in between lettings.
    Please ensure that you have adequate holiday/personal insurance cover.
    Prices include gas, electricity and water etc. Logs are provided for the open fire. Bed linen and bath towels are provided for all bookings.
    Fortnight and 10 day bookings also available, at reduced rates. A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking. The balance is due six weeks before arrival together with a damage deposit of £200.00, which is refundable within 14 days of departure. Please read terms & conditions of booking.

The property, which is not overlooked, is accessed by a long private drive, has spacious grounds and excellent parking facilities. The large comfortable living area has a modern well equipped American style kitchen and dining area providing seating for eight around a French oak table. The lounge area includes a three seater and a two seater leather settees, leather armchair and coffee table in front of the beautiful open fireplace. An ample supply of logs are provided for winter lettings. There is satellite TV, DVD player and a CD/cassette/radio player in the lounge area and a TV/DVD combi in the twin bedded room for your entertainment. There are three well furnished bedrooms, one double, a twin bedded room and a spacious family room which has a double and two single beds. All beds are adult size. A futon provides extra sleeping for two and is located in the lounge area. There is a travel cot, baby walker and a booster seat available on request.

The bathroom consists of a bath with overhead shower, hand wash basin and toilet. There is also a separate WC. The spacious shower room includes a hand wash basin and lit mirrored vanity unit. French doors provide access to the covered terraces ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sweeping views of the Southern Alps. Steps lead from the terraces and patio area to the swimming pool which is 1 metre to a maximum of 2 metres in depth. There is a solar shower located at the pool side. Exterior lighting illuminates the pool surround and pool projectors light up the pool itself providing the perfect ambiance for evening bathing. The pool is protected by a regulation standard pool alarm conforming with French Law. There is an integral stone built barbecue and outdoor furniture enabling a comfortable venue for outdoor eating on those long summer evenings or sunny winter afternoons! Sample the fresh local produce and wines in the comfort of your holiday home.
