I Vanzetti Villa is a luxury property containing seven bedrooms: two double bedrooms and five twin bedded rooms with four complete modern bathrooms. The views from all of the spacious rooms is spectacular.
The accommodation on the ground floor sleeps six people in three bedrooms: one double bedded room and two twin bedded rooms and two complete modern bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. The charming sitting room and the adjoining, fully equipped, live-in, country kitchen have double doors out to a terrace and a table for outdoor dining overlooking the beautiful views. This floor is joined internally to the first floor at a common entrance hall which also contains a restored, working bread and pizza oven.
The first floor accommodation boasts four bedrooms: one double room and three twin bedded rooms, including a studio room with a sleeping gallery and a mezzanine bedroom and two complete modern bathrooms with bathtub and shower.
The large living room in the center of the house and separate, adjoining dining room afford a gracious space for living and entertaining. The antique dining table opens to seat at least 12 people.
The layout of the house makes it easy to use all the rooms comfortably as a large group. All the rooms are decorated with art, prints and artifacts to make the house warm and interesting.On the grounds is a deconsecrated chapel that affords accommodation for two additional people, making a total of sixteen places available in the property. Local produce: honey,jams, wine, eggs, olive oil, vegetables, chickens, rabbits are availabale for purchase from the Contessa Maria Teresa. The local village of Tredozio boasts a Michelin stared restaurant.
The swimming pool, open from May 15 until the end September, (5x10mt; depth 1,40-1,90mt) is set in a rolling lawn adjoining the house.
There are regular flight services with Ryan Air between London and Bologna and Wind Jet between London and Forlì, otherwise you can fly to Bologna with regular airlines.
Basic Grocery Shopping: We can arrange for a starter amount of milk, coffee, tea, bread, sugar, water, fruit, organic eggs, local olive oil, butter, jam, orange juice and other items for an admin fee plus costs. For additional shopping there are local shops.
Further Extras: -catered dinner at your Villa is available and can be cooked in your Villa by the chef of the local Michelin stared restaurant, Il Mulino. We offer you a special dinner at La Collina, the 15th century Villa of your host at the cost of approximately €45 per person (for stays of one week or more). The Villa La Collina is steeped in the history both of the region and its time and has been owned over the centuries by the same family.Cooking classes and visits to a famous ceramic workshop are available. Extra maid service is available upon request.
