I Vanzetti has been cleverly converted into two separate fully equipped apartments - each over the entire floor and with their own entrance - that can be used as a single house or two separate apartments.
The First Floor apartment has four bedrooms: one double bedded room and three twin bedded rooms (which can be made into double beds) and two complete modern bathrooms with bathtubs and showers, which have been decorated with beautiful local tiles. The bedrooms are decorated with antique pieces, and high quality furniture and rugs. One of the bedrooms is also a studio room with a sleeping gallery inside the room which sleeps two; there is also a charming mezzanine bedroom.
The large living room with open fireplace is in the center of the house, elegantly furnished with comfortable couches and antique pieces. The separate dining room off the living room has an old dining table that opens to seat twelve people. All the rooms have splendid picture postcard views.
Off the kitchen is a fully equipped utility room. In the entrance between both apartments is a restored working bread and pizza oven.
The big swimming pool, open from May 15 until the end September, (5x10mt; depth 1,40-1,90mt) is shared by the guests, is surrounded by pool furniture for comfortable outdoor living. In the gardens at the pool is a dining table and chairs for outdoor eating. Lounge chairs are provided for all guests. All the rooms are decorated with beautiful prints and artifacts to make the house very warm and interesting.
Local produce: honey, cheese, wine, eggs, olive oil, vegetables, grown on the estate, are available to purchase directly, we breed chickens and rabbits for the market. The local village of Tredozio boasts a Michelin stared restaurant.
There is a regular flight service with Ryan Air between London and Bologna and Wind Jet between London and Forlì, otherwise you can fly to Bologna with regular airlines.
Basic Grocery Shopping: We can arrange for a starter amount of milk, coffee, tea, bread, sugar, water, fruit, organic eggs, local olive oil, butter, jam, orange juice and other items for an admin fee plus costs. For additional shopping there are local shops.
Further Extras: -catered dinner at your Villa is available and can be cooked in your Villa by the chef of the local Michelin stared restaurant, Il Mulino. We offer you a special dinner at La Collina, the 15th century Villa of your host at the cost of approximately €45 per person (for stays of one week or more). The Villa La Collina is steeped in the history both of the region and its time and has been owned over the centuries by the same family.Cooking classes and visits to a famous ceramic workshop are available. Extra maid service is available upon request.
