Casa Alimas is a spacious detached villa with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite) and is set in its own grounds with a large 10x5m swimming pool. Its peaceful location is just a short walk from the centre of Praia da Luz and the beach. Key features include the large pool with very private patio; stunning ocean views from the spacious balcony, which sweeps around the first floor; direct access to the pool patio from all bedrooms; very well equipped villa. Full air conditioning (for both heating and cooling).

The small town of Praia da Luz is a very attractive beach resort and is ideal for family holidays. The blue flag beach is protected by the spectacular cliffs known as the Black Rock. There are numerous restaurants in Luz catering for most tastes and a good supermarket is in easy walking distance of the villa. Between Luz and Lagos there are spectacular caves and grottos, accessible from land at Ponta da Piedade or by sea from various boat trips out of Lagos. The historic town of Lagos is just 10 minutes drive from the villa and has a wide range of good shops and restaurants. The main street fronts onto the river and the elegant marina. The rest of the Algarve is now very accessible via the new Motorway, which is only a few minutes drive from the villa. For golfers there are 4 golf courses within 5-20 minutes drive. The water parks and dolphin park are within a 30 minute drive.

    The villa rents from Saturday to Saturday, although there is flexibility outside of the peak season.

    The peak summer period (2010) is bookable in the following 14 day slots:

    There is a maid service each weekday (less frequent in winter) and the villa is managed locally in Praia da Luz. Keys are available on arrival 24 hours.

    7th and 8th persons are charged at £35 per extra person per week. Wireless broadband internet available for small charge.

Downstairs, the entrance hall leads to the three bedrooms (one double with en-suite bathroom and two twins) and the second bathroom. 8 people can be comfortably accommodated. A marble spiral staircase, with child gates, leads upstairs to the large, fully equipped kitchen and the lounge/dining room. Kitchen Equipment includes: Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas hob and cooker, fridge-freezer, breakfast table. Lounge Equipment includes: Widescreen Satellite TV (receiving UK channels), DVD player, VHS player, CD/Radio system, iPod dock, telephone, wireless broadband internet (for guests who bring their own laptop/PDA). Sofas to seat 8 people, dining table with 6 chairs, toys and games. Three sets of patio doors lead from the lounge onto the broad balcony, with beautiful views over Luz and the Atlantic Ocean. Balcony equipped with patio table and chairs; built in barbeque. The swimming pool is walled for privacy and has large areas for sunbathing on all sides.

Plenty of sun loungers are available. The irrigated gardens are well stocked with flowers and fruit trees. There is an almond grove in front of the villa, adding to the sense of peace and privacy. Private parking for three cars.
