Within easy reach is the university town of Oxford for punting, history and sight seeing and Stratford-upon-avon where many museums and theatres pay homage to Wiliam Shakespeare. Warwick and Bristol are all easily reached. Southwold Barn has a number of excellent pubs and restaurants located nearby. There are also several excellent golf courses and lovely walks within easy reach.
