Available all year round - escape to the deepest greenest depths of the countryside for a holiday, or a weekend break Situated against the tree line on the south side of Lewesdon Hill, about 5 miles from Bridport, Dorset Hideaway offers couples the chance to get away from it all for a while. With its own private lawn area, the building itself enjoys spectacular southerly views over the Marshwood Vale and into the hills along the Jurassic Coast. If you are looking for peaceful quiet rural accommodation, then this must be nearly the ultimate for you. Half a mile from the nearest road, two miles to the nearest shop and pub, five miles to the nearest town.... Wake up in the morning and look into 300 acres of woodland from the bedroom window. Relax on the deck in the mid-day sun, and watch the sun sink behind nearby Pilsdon Pen giving way to inky black starlit sky with no intrusion from street lighting. Listen to the silence.....

    - As the building is of wooden construction, candles and smoking cannot be permitted, and barbecues are permitted only on a concrete area a little away from the accomodation.

    - Rentals do not include electricity, which is by meter reading.
