Nearest Airport: Marseille or Nimes at 50 Kilometres
The pretty village of Cucuron is only 2 kms away from the villa. Cucuron is an unusual village in that it has, in place of the more common village square, a village pond – very pleasant to sit outside one of the bars that border the water on a hot summers afternoon or evening! Also close by is picturesque village of Lourmarin, selected as one of the most beautiful villages in France and well worth a stroll around. The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find lots of other charming villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Maubec, and Bonnieux) on the doorstep. Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger towns of Apt and Pertuis are both only 15 minutes away. There's loads to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market.
