Located in the heart of the Cotentin and Bessin marshlands regional park, Les Hauts-Vents provides country accommodation in a fully restored Norman farmhouse offering modern comfort and facilities while still retaining the authentic style typical of the old stone houses in the area. Just 5 km from St Mère Eglise and 10 km from the landing beaches, it is set in beautiful gently rolling countryside and is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. There are also a variety of activities and places of interest in the surrounding area from the historical D-day landing sites to fine chateaux and manor houses, country markets with local produce, exotic gardens, picturesque fishing ports, unspoiled beaches and rugged coastline. This charming farmhouse cottage, which has been completely restored, provides self-catering facilities for 4 to 6 people and has two bedrooms, a lounge/dining area, a kitchen and bathroom. It has its own garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture and off street parking and comes equipped with all facilities including TV. The spacious lounge area has a fireplace with woodburning stove and the kitchen has been completely refitted and equipped with a new oven, gas hotplates and a microwave.
