Three bedroom villa to sleep 6-8 in quiet village setting,5 minutes from Olhao.

Our three bedroomed Villa is set outside the village of Quelfes, near Olhao, 15mins from Faro, in a pleasant and tranquil area , nestling in the beautiful Algarvian countryside, with lovely views all round. The Villa has an unoverlooked heated swiming pool in it’s own private, mature and well maintained garden, backed by a vineyard. The sun drenched roof terrace is private and not overlooked, so is an ideal spot for sunbathing, it is accessed by an internal spiral staircase inside the turret .The villa has a large lounge with a wood burning stove and gas central heating for the winter months and a double bed settee, and is equipped to a high standard so that you want for nothing.

Casa Roseira is an ideal spot for relaxing with family and friends and enjoying time together, either around the pool or under the shade sail, or enjoying a tasty BBQ .A welcome pack awaits your arrival , there are also

a number of maps and information leaflets, including a very useful restuarant guide.

Pronounced 'ol-ee-ow', Olhão is a busy modern town with a lovely waterfront and marina.. Its fishing port is the most important in the Eastern Algarve and its fish market is the biggest. It also has many shops, restaurants and a festival devoted entirely to sea food in August.. . Olhão is very Portuguese, very Algarvian and very un-touristic. The pedestrian shopping area winds in cobbled streets through the moorish-looking old town to the waterfront with its markets (fruit, veg, meat, deli as well as fish), with its cafe's, parks and sparkling views out over the Ria Formosa lagoons. From the pier, you can take boats to the island villages and beaches of Armona, Culatra and Farol - all great day trips. The official visitor centre for the Ria Formosa nature reserve is just outside Olhão. Its worth a visit to see the restored tidal mill (of which there were once many in the Ria Formosa),and the bird life. During the Sea Food festival in August, half of the water front gardens are closed.

Refundable security deposit of £/€ 200 is taken with the booking deposit, this will be returned by post or online banking when the villa has been checked satisfactorily.

Our Villa is set outside the village of Quelfes, near Olhao, 15mins from Faro, nestling in the beautiful Algarvian countryside, with lovely views all round.

The Villa is a large two bedroomed, two bathroom dwelling with a garage, in it’s own private, mature and well maintained garden, backed by a vineyard. It has a large lounge with a wood burning stove and gas central heating for the winter months.

A circular turret staircase leads up to a fully private sun terrace, which is in full sun all day.

The private pool is 8.2m x 3.5m with sunbathing terrace and loungers. There is also a built in portuguese BBQ beside the eating area .All towels and bed linen are provided and there is a cleaning / gardening service with full linen change once a week. Beach towels are not provided so please bring your own. A car is essential as the nearest town, and therefore the supermarket, is 5 mins away by car.

Gorgeous beaches are close by with the nearest being Fuzeta and Pedras Del Rei which are 10mins and 15 mins away . There are over 17 championship golf courses in the Algarve and many other golf courses as well, the nearest is 3 mins away in Moncarapacho, the next village. Horse riding ,fishing and watersports are available everywhere in the Algarve but mainly in the bigger resorts, the nearest would be Faro and Villamoura. There are a selection of lovely restaurants in the town nearby, Olhao, as well as one in Quelfes itself. Olhao is a thriving fishing port and has a lovely promenade, which is particularly delightful at night.
