Camilla, small apartment in an old farmhouse on the Cassia Vetus, the former Roman road which connected Rome and Florence. Although it is an apartment, it counts as a private house as the upper part is unoccupied. This can, however, be rented along with Camilla (2 rooms and bathroom). The garden is terraced, the swimming pool is on one of the terraces, in a magnificent panoramic position with views of the Val d'Arno and hilly countryside of the Chianti. The last 150 m of road are unmade and 2 m wide. House with 2 apartments "Camilla", renovated in 2006 3 km from the centre of Piandiscò, 35 km from the centre of Firenze, 50 km from the centre of Arezzo. Within the walls, there are beautiful houses in medieval and Renaissance style built along the small horizontally running alleyways. The Badia di Soffena abbey is just outside, which has recently been renovated and it's medieval charm restored. Historical, quiet village with 2'700 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region, situated at the foot of the Pratomagno, on a slope with beautiful view, 43 km south-east from Firenze, 43 km north-west from Arezzo. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. More possibilities for shopping 8 km. Access: motorway A1 Firenze - Roma, exit number "Valdarno". Then road SP. 8. Access by train Firenze - Roma. Railway station "San Giovanni V.A." 8 km. Bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Firenze (FLR) 55 km.
