Spacious 4 bedroomed villa, sleeps 7, fully air conditioned, stunning views

Kaya Vadi is a private complex of 4 villas, situated in the gorgeous valley of Kaya Koy between Olu Deniz and Fethiye. Kaya Vadi House is the largest of the 4 villas and is a spacious, architect designed residence. The 4 bedrooms are downstairs for coolness, and the living areas upstairs to take advantage of the stunning views over the valley to the mountains. The huge kitchen/dining area is equipped with every modern appliance and an antique dining table to seat 8. In the cavernous lounge you will find a TV/DVD with a stock of films. All the rooms in this house are air-conditioned. The upper terrace has a built-in BBQ.

Set amongst stunning Mediterranean gardens with lawns and meandering pathways, our 14m peanut shaped swimming pool is a central feature. There are 3 picturesque ruined stone cottages next to the pool terrace, and in one there is a Turkish style seating platform with scattered rugs and cushions – the perfect spot to relax with a book and a cool drink.

Kaya Vadi is located in a stunning, quiet valley surrounded by small farms and mountain slopes. Specifically, we are located in the historic Kaya valley which is between the harbour town of Fethiye and the famous beach resort of Olu Deniz on the south west coast of Turkey.

Holidays at Kaya Vadi are for those people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy holiday resorts! Our little spot of paradise is to be found nestling between fields and mountains, is luxury set amongst tranquillity, but is only a short walk from the village restaurants and a 10 or 15 minute taxi ride from all the shops, bars, beaches and boat trips.

The Kaya valley is famous in Turkey being a protected area of outstanding natural beauty, and with its deserted and picturesque Greek village.

Notes: Our manager, Gem, speaks good English and is on site every day looking after the pool and gardens. He will deliver fresh bread every day and will hang it on your door knob. Maid service is Monday when the villa is cleaned thoroughly and all linens, towels etc. are changed. On a Thursday we clean bathrooms and change towels, and vacuum and wash the floors. An ironing service is available if required. Flights, airport transfers and car hire can be arranged. There is a no smoking rule inside the villa, but with weather like ours, smoking outside is never a problem!

About the Region: There is very little crime in this part of Turkey. The children grow up in a family culture and respect their elders. The little tots walk to school unaccompanied, hand in hand. The coastline is amongst the most beautiful in the world - with mountains tumbling directly into the sea and numerous islands just waiting for you to explore. From Kaya Vadi as your base, you can be as active or as passive as you like. Some days you may choose to just relax by the pool, or sunbathe in complete privacy on your roof top terrace. Another day you might take a cruise on a beautiful wooden Turkish gullet, go snorkelling and visit some of the islands. If you feel more energetic you can take a jeep safari and combine an action packed, fun day with seeing some of our beauty spots and historical sites. Nearby there are beaches with water sports of all types, plus fishing, horse riding, camel riding, diving, para-gliding, microlites and excursions to many fascinating locations.

Within walking distance there are a variety of local restaurants offering traditional and western cuisine at surprisingly low prices.

There are some stunning historical sites in the surrounding area offering a touch of culture to your holiday. You can access these sites independently by car or as part of a Jeep Safari or other tour. The delightful harbour town of Fethiye, is just a 15 minute drive in one direction, and the wonderful beaches at Olu Deniz and Gemiler are a similar distance in the other. From Fethiye you can take a cruise round the islands in one of the many gulets lined up along the promenade. Or go shopping in the old town for designer clothes or watches at silly prices.

We are pleased to arrange airport transfers and/or car hire for our guests.

Our prices include a well stocked fridge on arrival, cleaning twice a week, all bathroom and beach towels, and a WiFi service for those that need to keep up with their emails.
