Situated close to the village of Sarrazac and only 7 miles from Jumilhac Le Grand, these gites are well placed to explore the north Dordogne and the south Haute Vienne regions. The Correze is also in easy reach.
Brantome, the Venice of Perigord is close by. The surrounding unspoilt forests are famous for cepe mushrooms and truffles which feature on the menus in the local restaurants. Historic Thivier, with its Saturday morning market, offers the opportunity to buy local delicacies. Slightly further away, but within easy reach, is Perigueux with its cathedral and medieval shopping streets. Many children's activities are within easy distance.
Budget airlines fly to nearby Limoges or Bergerac from Luton, Edinburgh, Stansted, Liverpool, Bristol, East Midlands, Bournmouth and Southampton (Ryanair from £4.99 plus tax each way and Flybe).
