From its beginnings as a small fishing village near the residence of the King of Thailand, the town of Hua Hin has developed into an upmarket Tourist area, but yet retains its atmosphere of peace, tranquillity and warm Thai hospitality. And you can hardly believe the cheap prices.
Hua Hin has a large Night-Market, a good shopping centre, and is full of food and souvenir shops.
The Night Market is very famous for souvenirs and food, visited by millions of tourists for over half a century. It opens 7 days a week from 5:00 pm till midnight.
The two long white sandy beaches are separated by Takiab Hill. The Hill is inhabited by a colony of monkeys. A road leads to the top, where a temple is situated, with many observation areas and view points.
