A beautiful Country Cottage for Xmas

We were met by a warm welcome from Sarah the owner who lives up the road checking we had every thing we needed. The beautifully kept Cottage is close to local village amenities yet far enough away to be secluded and peaceful. The Cottage is so well equipped .. we took alot of things but everything was supplied from Christmas decorations to Washing Up Liquid. The Linen and towels remind me more of some 5 star Hotels, giving an excellent nights rest. The upstairs double bedroom is huge with a great bathroom next door. The downstairs double bedroom is next too the beautiful shower room and kids room which can be closed off from the rest of the house making it idea for families and groups of friends. The lounge/kitchen/dining area if delightful being able to be part of the fun even when preparing in the kitchen. There are plenty of comfy couches with a six seat dining table. A huge flat screen TV with satellite, DVD and CD players give you all the creature comforts.
The Cottage is set in some beautiful grounds with a tennis court and loads of parking. We had a great Christmas week and didn't want to leave. Great places to visit in the area are Rye of course, Tenterton and the beach at Camber sands but it was a wee bit chilly in the middle of winter.
All in all we had a terrific Christmas and would love to come back in the summer to see more of this beautiful area of the country. Happy Holidays at Wintons Cottage.
