Our apartment is located in number 52, Rue St. Andre des Arts. It is on the 3rd floor (walk up) of a historic listed building and is in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Entry is via secure gates leading into a cobbled courtyard and then into the apartment block. The apartment is 58.50 square metres and consists of a Dining Room, Kitchen, Lounge, Bedroom and a Bathroom. It is fully furnished to a high standard and includes all Linen, Towels, Tableware etc. The fit out as you would expect has a full range of modern conveniences. The kitchen has an Electric Hob, Oven, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Fridge Freezer, Dish Washer and Washing Machine. There is also two stools and a breakfast table. The Dining Room has a glass top dining table and four chairs and there is also a range of presses to hold clothing etc. The Lounge has two double sofa beds, two large bookshelves / press units, an LCD TV, DVD, CD surround sound system, cable tv, and telephone (with internet facilities).
The bedroom has a Queen size bed, a bucket armchair and two bedside lockers. There is also a full size built in wardrobe with ample storage space. The Bathroom is accessible from both the bedroom and the dining room and has a WC, Wash Basin and large Shower Cabinet. A hair dryer is provided and there is also a shaving socket. The apartment has an individually controlled gas central heating system with radiators in each room. This system also heats the hot water for the shower. Once outside the apartment you will find a host of restauarants, bars, cafes etc. There is also a very interesting range of shops in the immediate area. For those of you who enjoy a nice steak, I would recommend a visit to 'L'Entrecote' restauarant where they serve a set menu (with free seconds) of the finest steak and french fries. It is located on the first turn to the right after the church of St. Germain des Pres(on Blvd. St. Germain) and is about 5 min.s walk from the apartment
