Valberg holiday chalet

This unspoilt and tranquil region of France caters for both winter and summer sports. In the winter there are 52 available ski runs with snow cover ensured by 350 snow canons. In the summer all manner of activities can be catered for including Mountain Biking (VTT), Hiking, Mountain Golf, Swimming, Tennis, Trampoline, Gymnastics, Archery, a Multi-Sport Playground, EVA, Summer Luge, Quad Biking, White Water Rafting, Canoeing, Kayaking, Trout Fishing, Rock Climbing and Pony Trekking. Nearby is the National Park du Mercantour - a naturalists and hikers dream. For most people the entry into Valberg will be through one of the stunning gorges - The Gorges du Cians or The Gorges du Daluis. Although only 500m from the centre of Valberg, the Chalet sits on private land along a quiet road, with its own tarmacced drive, a garage and ample parking for several cars. The property has a terrace at the front and the rear.

There is also a garden surrounding the whole property and a sturdy perimeter fence. Inside there are two floors - A large open plan main floor and an upper floor containing three bedrooms and a bathroom. The main floor hallway leads to a fully fitted kitchen and then to a linked lounge / dining room area. In this area there are wall-mounted plans of the winter ski area and the available summer activities. The lounge contains a TV, DVD and Video. It can be quickly and smoothly screened off to provide the privacy off a fourth bedroom. This lounge / dining area leads through two sets of sliding doors to a large balcony up to 4 metres deep with uninterrupted, southward facing, panoramic views of approximately thirty kilometres. This floor also contains a bathroom with a shower and toilet. There is also an additional WC on this floor. The stairwell sits at the base of a 5 metre vaulted ceiling.

Upstairs, the landing leads to three bedrooms, each with a vaulted ceiling, a balcony and fully fitted wardrobes. This floor also has a bathroom, containing a bath, WC and bidet.
