La Belle Vue is a unique holiday property, built right on the XII century ramparts of the famous bastide of Domme, voted 'one of the most beautiful villages of France' With its private garden and its magnificient views over the valley and fields, it gives the feel of being in peaceful open countryside but has the convenience of a three minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of the wonderful medieval village. Just think - you can lie in bed enjoying the countryside views and send the kids to get the baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolat in the mornings!

    Changeover day is on saturday, althought we are flexible in low season.
    Arrivals - Saturday afternoon from 4.00pm to 6.00pm
    Departures - Saturday morning by 10.00 am.

    During cooler periods an efficient electric heating system keeps you warm (extra to be paid locally according to use).

    Bed Linen and Towels are available at extra cost:
    €12 per bed, €7 towel set (hand and bath towels)

    Guests are requested to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next guests. A cleaning service is available, if required, at a cost of 80 Euros, payable locally to our agent. Please advise when booking if you require this service.
  • 30% deposit with booking. Remainder to be paid 4 weeks before arrival.
    Breakage deposit of 350 Euros to be paid on arrival, returnable on departure

LAYOUT OF THE COTTAGE: La Belle Vue has 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 showerooms, an elegant salon with an large american kitchen and two terrace areas. The house is furnished to a high standard using a mixture of English and French wooden furniture. The salon is comfortably elegant with sofas, armchairs and a formal dining table. There is satellite TV, DVD player and an i Pod docking station. A log fire provides for those chillier evenings. French door leads onto the terrace area and garden. The open plan kitchen is very fully equipped - including a modern cooker with 4 burners, an oven, microwave, fridge-freezer. The range of crockery, glass, cutlery and cooking utensils is very generous. Bedroom 1, has a double bed, a built in wardrobe, and affords the same breathtaking views. Adjacent Moroco style shower room with large fully tiled shower, wash basin and toilet.

From the lounge, a oak straircase leads to the newly converted attic level where are a second double beded room and a twin bedroom. These tow rooms share a newly fitted shower room with as shower unit, wash basin and toilets.

Outside : The 400m² south facing garden is the ideal place where you can relax in. It is planted with fruits trees and enjoy panoramic views over the valley. There is a balcony with table and chair at the lounge level and a second terrace area equiped with barbecue facilities, a big dining table, and parasols. For your comfort there is a private car park for one car at the house.
