The house is spacious and comfortable furnished. It has a living room with a fireplace, television, ADSL, stereo and a dining table. Doors open onto the terrace, which has splendid views across the river. There is a separate kitchen, entirely equipped with all modern comforts. The groundfloor double bedroom also has lovely views over the river, and there is a bathroom and a separate wc. There is another double bedroom with a bathroom in the Pigeonnier part of the house and a third double bedroom with showerroom upstairs with a balcony overlooking the garden. The terrace has a barbecue, outside table and chairs, and is a marvellous place to have diner and watch the sunset.

Sainte Livrade has a selection of shops and one of the largest markets in the area every Friday morning, packed with everything imaginable from a huge variety of seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, flowers and local foie gras and wine, to fabrics, clothes, pots, kitchen utensils and more ! Villeneuve sur Lot, 15 minutes away, has two markets a week, good shopping in the centre of the town, a choice of restaurants and two large supermarkets in the outskirts.
