Our 17th century renovated mas or farmhouse is set in 2/3rds of an acre amidst orchards, on the road between Avignon and St-Rémy-de-Provence ideally situated for exploring Provence. Our outbuildings have been converted to comfortable, fully equipped self-catering Gîtes (guest houses) and our gardens are landscaped to include a 12 x 6m swimming pool, summer house, a pond and waterfall, and secluded seating areas for the use of our guests. At 500 meters from the village of Rognonas you are at an easy walk or drive from 4 bakeries, a supermarket, 'traiteurs', two bars & a restaurant as well as all the other conveniences of an active village. The exciting city of Avignon is but a seven-minute drive away. As well as standard self-catered 'Gîte' accommodation, we can offer a range of services to make Mas Saint-Antoine 'more than just a Gîte' ranging from local information, mini Boule tournaments, to poolside BBQ/Pizza or Provencal evenings. You can travel up to 1 hour in any direction from our central location & be on the top of Mount Ventoux, at the beach, tasting sumptuous wines, riding a horse through the camargue, strolling through a local or Provencal market, canoing under the Pont Du Gard, golfing, cycling through quiet back roads or just sitting in a cafe watching people. Should this be your first time to Provence & as we live on site we are always around to help with suggestions & directions for the best things to see & do. You will have so many choices to make daily that a few hours by the pool might be the only thing you get around to doing.

  • Although our change over days are Saturdays in high season, we do try to be accomodating by offering you flexible arrival and departure days in mid and low seasons. We ask that you leave the gite in the state in which you found it, but if you wish to be totally on holidays and leave the cleaning to us, it can be arranged for a small fee. Cold arrival meals, gourmet dinners or shopping baskets can also be reserved. We can also arrange to have rental bicycles delivered for you for whatever duration you choose.

Originally designed as the owners' suite, the Saint Sebastien is a luxuriously appointed with a queensize bedroom with ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has two twin beds and it's own shower room. The modern, fully equipped kitchen is open to the dining/living room and furnished with beautiful antiques. This very elegant and spacious Gite has cathedral ceilings and exposed beams with ceiling fans in all rooms. Although your dining area is well furnished and very comfortable, you will probably spend the majority of your time on your terrace overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. Your gas BBQ is just steps away for your chef's pleasure.
