'Le Liseron' is a charming, traditional house in delightful Languedoc wine-producing village. It has a recently-extended sun terrace and a shady sunken courtyard. It is minutes from beautiful countryside and vineyard walks and the village centre with its amenities (bar/cafe, boulangerie, charcuterie, pharmacie, alimentation, etc). The D909 runs you quickly down to Beziers (15 mins) and from there to the Mediterranean beaches of Vias, Valras, Serignan, Agde etc. The house sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms. There is central heating throughout and a wood-burning fireplace for those staying in the colder months.
An entrance hall leads up stairs to a spacious living/dining room with comfortable sofa and armchairs, dining table with seating for six, TV, DVD player, selection of DVDs and a stereo unit. The house has a fixed line telephone and WiFi access.
The kitchen has a gas hob, extractor, microwave/grill, cooker and large fridge freezer, plus there is a utility room with washing machine and ironing facilities. The bathroom has a full-length bath, washbasin, shower and bidet and there is separate WC with hand basin. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and access to the sun terrace through French doors. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and also has access to the terrace through French doors.
The large sun terrace has lighting and power and tables and chairs for outdoor meals - breakfast or dinner on the long summer evenings - plus sun chairs. Spiral stairs lead down from the sun terrace to the sunken courtyard with plants and paddling pool. There is on-street parking outside the house, or parking in the large garage can be arranged on request. Close by are: Béziers (nightlife, markets, hypermarkets, cultural activities, restaurants). Pézenas (historic and artistic centre). Lac de Salagou & Roquebrun (watersports, cycling, walking).
Canal du Midi (cycling or boat hire among the plane trees). A wonderful region to visit for all the family.
