Holiday in apartment in May 2006

We visited the apartment at a time when we both needed to totally chill out. This is exactly what we did!
I was slightly apprehensive as this was only the second time I had been abroad as a single parent. However, my anxieties were swiftly allayed.
I booked the flights and car hire on line and everything went smoothly. We had been given clear instructions as to how to reach the resort. On our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, who spoke good English and were expecting us.
The apartment was clean and nicely furnished, with superb views from the balcony. We were very grateful for the air conditioning.
As we visited just before the start of the main season, the supermarket and night club were not open. This did not bother me in the slightest. It is only a short drive to Kalkan, where you can purchase all the groceries etc that you need. The only slight drawback was the mosquitoes at night. There was only one or two, but they always managed to bite us! Make sure you take some repellent with you.
We spent a lot of time just lazing by the pools (there is an adult’s only area) or by the sea. The whole resort is clean with friendly and helpful staff.
Most evenings we ate in the restaurants in the resort, where the food was delicious. We also caught the boat across the harbour to Kalkan (this goes to and fro regularly), where there are plentiful restaurants and shops.
One day we drove along the coast to Kas, where we visited the market – an experience not to be missed!
We enjoyed the experience so much, that we are going back in June this year, with my other daughter too.
I would thoroughly recommend the apartment and the resort, as there is plenty to do if you want to.
