Interior: Living Room : The Living Room has windows looking out over the Castello courtyard and then down the Val d'Era towards the hilltop town of Peccioli. Furnishings include 2 leather sofas, satellite TV and DVD. A range of maps and tour/local guides are provided to help you get the most from your visit
Kitchen : The traditional Tuscan-style kitchen has been handmade by a local company to complement the style of the Castello. Fitted with modern appliances including a dishwasher. The kitchen has windows looking out over the Catello courtyard and also looking West towards Olive groves.
Bedroom : Furnished with solid oak furmiture, the Bedroom has a king sized bed, wardrobe, bedside drawers, large set of drawers and a dressing table. Bathroom : The bathroom has an enclosed shower together with a sink, WC and Bidet. The window looks West towards the Olive groves.
Exterior: The exterior of Castello di Alica has been completely restored in line with Italy's rigorous historical building regulations using traditional methods and period materials including sandstone, exposed wooden beams and terracotta tile floors.
Castello di Alica is approached through the hillside hamlet of Alica. Parking is provided in a Car Park immediately outside the Castello boundary, providing a vehicle-free environment for the property
Courtyard. The pool, complete with an integrated spa, has stunning views down the valley.
The large Courtyard is an ideal place to simply sit, relax and take in the scenery. It offers panoramic veiws down the Val d'Era towards Peccioli (South) and across the hills to Partino (East). The original Well for the monestary is the centrepiece of the Courtyard.
Golf:
Castelfalfi Golf Course is 20km from the apartment. There is a set of (Gents) R. H. Clubs in the apartment that guests are welcome to use.
