Characteristic cottage in a beautiful village

Our stay at Lundy Cottage was a wonderful holiday. The cottage is small but has is well decorated which gives you the feeling of 'home'.
Tall people must mind their heads, because the ceiling in the bathroom is very low, we bumped our head many times, but still that didn't ruin our holidayfun. The village Port Isaac is very beautiful, like your in a movie or something.
The property was very clean and provided all the neccecairy goods in the cottage and the communication between the owner and us went very well.
The informationbook provided in the cottage about the surrounding is a little bit outdated, but you can always go to the nearest tourist information shop.
The parking was a little bit of a problem in the beginning for we hadn't enough coins to put in te parking machine. It is 27 pounds for a week and you have to walk about 3/4 of a mile to the cottage. That wasn't a problem for us because when you walk from the parking to the cottage you see a great scenary of the Atlantic Ocean!
We would certainly recommend this property to a relative or a friend.
It's a pity we don't get to see the beautiful port every morning, but luckily we still have our pictures!

Owner's Response: Thank you Astrid and family,
We really enjoy welcoming guests from outside the UK and we're glad that you had a wonderful holiday at Lundy cottage! We agree that Port Isaac is a special place to spend a family holiday.
Our apologies about the parking charges having gone up, in the recent economic climate the charges went up suddenly without our realising. We have let all of our future guests for this summer know about the parking price change. We are also in the process of sorting the the handbook to ensure that the information about all of the attractions is completely up to date. Thanks for your feedback, we always welcome visitor comments.
We hope to welcome you and your family back to Lundy Cottage very soon Astrid. Thank you for recommending us to your friends and family. We look forward to hopefully welcoming some of them too.
Best wishes,
Anita and Andy Wood
