Kingswear holiday house: Kingswear

The front door opens into a large open plan sitting-room with library of books, games, CDs and DVDs. We now also have access to the internet through Broadband. The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob) and the dining area (seating for 8) opens on to a large south facing terrace well equipped with garden furniture - a wonderful place to dine al fresco, sunbathe or drink in the view with a pre-dinner cocktail. On this floor there is also a master bedroom with double bed (5’) and en-suite bathroom and another double bedroom offering either a super king-size or full sized twin beds. Across the passage is a large shower room with W.C. All bedrooms have the same superb view of the harbour entrance and castle. Stairs from the living room lead down to a small kitchenette with hob, fridge and larder and a door onto the middle terrace. From here is a door to the ‘wet’ shower room with W.C.

and another to the ‘studio’ - a large room with French windows to the terrace (superb views) and twin beds, sofa and another TV – an ideal children’s area. This leads through to a small double bedroom (4’ 6” bed) again with wonderful estuary views, and its own en-suite bathroom. The large well maintained garden is on 3 terraces; the lower area has been left ‘ungroomed’ with shrubs, rough grass and fruit trees (help yourselves!) – wonderful for hide and seek! Here there is an outdoor table tennis table. The middle terrace is lawned with a barbeque and seating area, the top terrace has shrubs, rockery and herb garden and houses the drying area and laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The house is fully gas central heated and all duvets, linen and towels (apart from swimming towels) are provided.
