Start the school holiday with a non-freezing swim at Truro pool every day! You can also book activity sessions for the kids there. Gloweth lies on the fringes of Truro City, the cultural centre of Cornwall. Country walks and the leisure centre are on your doorstep - no car required. 4 beaches are only 15 minutes away by car, and the river, shops, theatre, cinema, museum and cathedral of Truro are a 5 minute drive. There is also a golf course on the way in to Truro. *

Ideal for a family holiday, this new-build detached cottage is a great base for exploring Cornwall. The south-facing garden is secure and private for children, and the swimmimg pool/sports hall close by offers independence to older children, whatever the weather!

change-over day: Preferred day is Friday, which is much easier for travelling! However it may be possible to arrive/leave on Saturday - please ask.

Had a great 2 weeks......spent a lot of time at Chapel Porth body surfing....The cottage was one of the best equipped and cleanest we have stayed in. We eill be back!

We have had a wonderful holiday. The house is really comfortable and well equipped. We spent almost every day on Chapel Porth or Porthtowan beach and were incredibly lucky with the weather.

Perfect holiday

My girlfriend and I had a great time here - the welcome was very friendly, the house was immaculate and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is just out of town, which made for quiet evenings, but getting into town for shopping and visiting friends was easy.

The house was also handy for getting out of town to visit beaches and the rest of Cornwall. Thanks for helping us have a relaxing holiday :)
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
