This self-catering 1st floor apartment is located a ten minute stroll away from Las Cucharas beach and only a two minute walk to the nearest shop and restaurant. It is close enough for the night-life to be easily accessible, but also located far enough away so there is no noise disturbance at night. The apartment is well equipped including a washing machine; iron and ironing board, microwave, full size electric cooker and hob and a fridge/freezer. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds. There are two fold-up beds to accommodate guests 5 & 6. Each bedroom has wardrobes, a fan, an electric heater and hair dryer. The dining area has a dining table that can seat six. The patio area has table and chairs, a couple of sun loungers and a barbecue. In the spacious living area is satellite TV, DVD player and stereo so feel free to bring your own CDs or DVDs to play.

Nearest Airport: Arrecife at 6 Miles
Nearest Ferry: Arrecife at 3 Miles
Nearest Beach: Las Cucharas at 400 Metres
Car: not necessary
Costa Teguise is about 4 miles north of the Lanzarote capital , Arrecife. It is an excellent centre for all types of holiday as it is situated on the coast but fairly central north and south. Although it is not quite as lively as the main tourist town of Puerto del Carmen, it lacks none of the facilities. The King of Spain also has a villa here, if that isn't a recommendation, I don't know what is! There is a beautiful sandy beach at Las Cucharas (400m) and the town also has 2 other beaches further south along the coast. It is a great place to windsurf as once you get out past the protected area of the bay you can get some great breezes. There are numerous diving schools so you can take advantage of the warm clear waters and visit the reefs and wrecks around the area. There is cycle hire, car hire and travel companies in the town to allow you to do some sightseeing. Costa Teguise is only 20 minutes drive from the amazing volcanic caves and Cesar Manrique's magnificent houses.

  • There is a double bed in bedroom 1 and two singles in bedroom 2. There is a folding bed in each bedroom and these can be moved around to suit your situation. There is enough room in the lounge to leave the beds made up for your entire holiday. The main bedroom has a large built in wardrobe complete with hangers. There is also a dressing table and two bedside tables with lamps. The twin room has a wardrobe with hangers and two drawers a table under the mirror and a central bedside table and lamp. Each bedroom has a fan, a heater and a hair dryer. There are also extra bed covers in case of chilly nights.

Notes: The apartment is located on the first floor and is reached by a stairway. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a washing machine located in the utility room which you are free to use during your stay. Access in to the apartment is controlled by a digital locking system. You will be given a unique access code for the duration of your stay, thus removing any worry about losing keys and enhancing the overall security of the apartment. The apartment complex is located on a small hill which allows you to overlook the town and gives you a sea view. Although the restaurants and bars are very close -2 min to the closest - there is no intrusive noise when on the balcony so allowing you to relax and watch the stars in peace.

A very comfortable, clean, spacious appartment. Close to enough bars and restuarants. Suitable location for all ages, including teenages! The owners extremely friendly and helpful. Use of driver from and to airport much appreciated, no hanging around for taxi. Only downside the pool was not heated.

We booked this apartment for one week from 08.03.09 to 15.03.09. Upon arrival the taxi that we were able to pre-book with the owners was waiting for us, which is preferable to waiting with the other 200 people who have just come off the flight, and after just ten short minutes we arrived at the apartment.
The apartment itself is very spacious and the two bedrooms are apart from each other at either ends of the apartment. We we very impressed with the facilties in the apartment, just about everything you could think of - and a few more! The balcony was excellent, in the sun most of the day until about 5pm. The location of the apartment was good as well. It was about a five minute walk to the nearest beach Las Cucharas and a further five minutes walk took you into the centre of Costa Teguise and the 'Square' which is where most of the nightlife seems to centre, and which is the location of the better restaurants. However there were a few bars, restaurants and shops within a quick two minute walk.
As we were two couples I would definitely recommend this apartment for couples, and I am sure it would be suitable for families as well.

We holidayed in Lanzarote (first time) last October/November and stayed at the San Jacinto apartment. It was very good value for money, well equipped and huge. Many thanks to Carol and Dave for arranging our transfers - that was very useful. Apartment is in good location, plenty of places to eat nearby - less than ten minute walk to beach which was where my four year old wanted to go every day! We had an enjoyable time and hope to return soon. Can definitely recommend. Plenty of books in the sideboard which you can swap with your own if you wish. Good size balcony too.

Excellent apartment, the photo's are spot on!
We have recently had our second stay and found standards just as high as on our first visit. Well done Carol & Dave.
Very spacious, comfortably furnished, well equipped and well maintained.
Shops, restaurants and beach within easy walking distance. Car not essential as tours run to all the interesting places.
Highly recommended as a base in Lanzarote.

These apartments are very well situated within a 2 minute walk to the nearest shop and 8-10mins from the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby with a variety to suit all tastes. Everything you need is found within the spacious apartments which have a superb view from a wonderful balcony. I would recommend a car as to get real value from your holiday it is worth exploring this very interesting island. The owners are very helpful and will give you all necessary information prior to arrival with excellent directions from the airport. The apartment was spotless. Enjoy your stay at these apartments
