Flanders & Brussels holiday cottage: Maldegem

The cottage is situated between 2 historic canals. They are approximately 100 metres away from the house. The canals give the landscape its unique and restful character. It's lovely walking or cycling along them while admiring the different species of birds. This vastness makes you breathe more freely and offers you lots of positive energy. It's also nice to stay in our cottage garden. Children can romp or rest in the hammock. Historic cities as Bruges, Damme and Ghent are in the neigbourhood. The house is about a 15 mins driving from the Belgian or Dutch seaside. You can settle down in one of our beautiful provincial woods,"Het Leen" or "Het Drongengoed". Both are about 8 km driving. You can use 2 bikes for adults for free! We have also a lot of bikes for children. Do try some Belgian restaurants, because we are well known for our excellent art of cooking!
