This is out 3rd visit to Keldlands, this time spending 2 weeks instead of 1 as we never have enough time to visit all the great surrounding places.Kedlands is spot on accommodation, 6 of us go, mysef, my partner, our 2 children (11 & 6 yrs) and my parents. The cottage is very spacious with us all having our own rooms with ensuite and the downstairs bedroom is great for anyone with limited mobility.Always clean and tidy with linen provided and loads of towels to use.The hot tub is a great hit, so is the games room across all generations, especially on those rainy days ! David the owner is a star and always there if there is a problem or anything is needed,he even takes the children on horse rides across the farmland.
Lots to see and do in the area, but if you want to be beside the sea Keldlands is not with the nearest beach Scarborough 20-30 mins away, but if you want country side then this is the place for a very comfortable, well maintained,well provisioned property with a very accommodating and friendly owner.
You can walk up to the village of Newton upon Rawcliffe to The White Swan for a very satisfying, home cooked traditional pub meal followed by a game of bar billiards and a pint of guest ale. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and infact we are always telling friends of our wonderful stays we have had here and i am sure we will be back in the future.
