Tudor Cottage was built circa 1600 and grade II listed with English Heritage. Set in one of the quaint narrow streets by the quayside of East Looe, you really get a cosy feeling when you open up the beautiful hand crafted oak front door and step into the cottage. On entering the cottage you will see the large welcoming open fireplace with a traditional woodburning stove and original ceiling timbers and window seat. The dining area has a large wooden table, six chairs. There is also a radio/cd player.
Through this room is the recently refurbished fully equipped kitchen with solid oak worktops, antique oak dresser, slate floor and modern appliances including fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
Following up the spiral staircase, said to wind around an authentic ships mast, is the lounge area equipped with two comfortable sofas, foot rest, satallite TV, DVD and hi-fi system. Leading off is the second (twin) bedroom, with matching bedside tables, wardrobe and drawer space.
Continuing up the spiral staircase is the luxury master bedroom full of charm with king size bed, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams (one of which is 4ft high! - see photograph), Juliet balcony, ample wardrobe space, chest of drawers and matching bedside tables.
Also on the second floor directly off the master bedroom is the luxury bathroom, complete with coordinating white bathroom suite, quality Mira power shower above the bath with glass shower screen. A heated towel rail and vanity unit above the pedestal basin are additional features.
