Mon Rêve is a modern, two bedroom duplex cottage which sleeps 2 to 6 people, with a fabulous garden, and every convenience. Mon Reve is equipped with all you will need for a great stay: fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher and oven. French style furniture. Satellite TV with a good variety of English channels. DVD player, WIFI internet for those who just have to keep in touch! There is a very comfortable sprung sofa bed in the lounge which will sleep two people. Cloakroom with toilet.
Upstairs: Two bedrooms, one double with balcony overlooking the garden, the other bedroom, has a loft (bunk) beds, and is great for the kids. You will also find a shower room with vanity basin and toilet. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. We have a baby cot (portable) and a stair gate. French doors lead out to the paverd dining terrace, and decked area, surrounded by gardens with lush planting.
A pergola, and fence covered in climbing plants, lends privacy and offers a tranquil and beautiful space, in which to relax, chill out, eat, drink, listen to the birds, sunbathe or barbecue.
Set in Leon village, minutes walk from the shops, restaurants, banks, cinema and local amenities. And only a few minutes drive (or cycle) to the sea and lakes. Rainy days are rare, so you will want to enjoy the outside life, with a deck, dining terrace and sunbathing terrace, you will be spoilt for choice. Leon is right down in the South-West of France where the sun is much higher in the sky all year round. The forest of Landes is vast, and together with the amazing Atlantic dominates the landscape. Mon reve is beautiful year round. We offer weekend breaks in low season. The cottage is very suitable for couples, families and the retired. There is every activity you can imagine, from surfing to cycling, golf to kite surfing, kayak and fishing.
Go carp fishing at the amazing Rainbow lake, just over one hours drive from Mon Reve.
