Originally part of Reeth's parish workhouse, erected in approximately 1753, Leeside has been extended and extensively modernised to create a comfortable, easily maintainable detached house which is all on one level. It benefits from private off street parking adjacent to the cottage, and a lovely south facing secluded garden. The cottage is ideally located for people who wish to "get away from it all", enjoy the countryside, fine dining and relax from the moment of arrival. As the Dales' main village and market centre, Reeth is an ideal base for touring the Dales either by foot, bike or car. It's many facilities include excellent tea rooms, pubs and restaurants offering a good choice of food from breakfast to Sunday lunches.

  • The holiday cottage is mainly available from Saturday to Saturday after 3.30pm. However in some cases we can accommodate Friday to Friday. Vacation of the property is by 11.00 a.m. on day of departure.

    We also take bookings for a minimum of 2 nights (Friday - Saturday), 3 nights (Friday - Sunday) and 4 nights (Monday - Thursday).

    We also can offer 'SPECIAL ROMANTIC BREAKS' where we can provide champagne, chocolates, flowers etc to be awaiting upon your arrival as a nice suprise.

    Towels are not provided but can be available on request.

    £100 deposit taken from time of booking and balance 8 weeks before. Cheques to be sent to the owner direct or electronically via the internet.
    Cancellation details: 4-8 weeks – 50% of rate refunded, 2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded, less than 2 weeks – no refund.

Tucked away at the head of a private drive, and just off the village green, the accommodation is on one level with integral garage below - providing secure storage for bikes. Far-reaching views over Swaledale can be enjoyed from both the living room and the external balcony. The property has been decorated with soft furnishings and furniture to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. First floor: The entrance porch provides access to the balcony with extensive views across Swaledale. Open-plan living/dining-room offering comfortable seating around an open stone fireplace. The kitchen offers all mod cons with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment. The dining area provides seating for 4 people. An automatic washing machine and tumble drier are located in the integral garage below. For those warmer days and evenings a portable charcoal barbeque and garden furniture are provided for dining and relaxing in the garden. The Bathroom/W.C.

includes a bath with overhead electric shower, wash basin and toilet. Wall mounted heater. Sleeping accommodation comprises a double bedroom with double integrated wardrobe, plentiful hanging space and extensive drawer storage. A second, bunk-bedded room provides ideal sleeping accomodation for children and includes a small wardrobe with 2 drawers. *Night storage heaters are provided along with additional electric heating for those cooler evenings together with logs for the open fire. *A coin slot electricity meter is installed which will be fully primed prior to your arrival. Under normal conditions, over the course of a 1 week stay, this should not require topping-up however the meter can be topped up, if required, using £1 coin(s). This is housed in the garage below above the washing machine. *A high-chair is provided for our smaller guests and a travel cot is available on request.
