Holiday house in an exclusive village just 5 metres from the beach. The house is set in a peaceful location and offers a terrace, wonderful sea views and private parking. The house faces one of the most beautiful golden, sandy beaches of South Sardinia, called Porto Paglia. The proeprty is set in a old fishermen's house with tuna workshop. The village was built at the end of XVIII century on this breathtaking coastline. Now the whole village is looked after by the Italian Government for its historical and cultural relief and it has been completely restored as a private exclusive residence. Our accomodation bypasses the frills and proudly provide properties of comfort with the simplicity of the Sardinian character. Our self catering cottage combine charm and quality in a stunning location, the perfect place to spend relaxing holidays, far from mass tourism.

The “Antiche Tonnare di Porto Paglia” is an old fishermen’s village built at the end of XVIII century. It was the place where Sardinian tuna fish was caught. These little buildings were used for this aim until 1974. There are still many fishermen’s houses all around a court-yard, a little church, the old workshops near the seaside and a Spanish tower that is still there since 1598. Today the fishermen’s village is completely restored and it has become a private exclusive residence, a peaceful place where you can spend your holiday. It is an accommodation suitable for a relaxing holiday, visiting the real Sardinia in order to know its real flavours and perfumes. Gonnesa is the nearest town and is about 1 km from the village. It is a place not discovered at all by mass tourism. In Gonnesa you can find everything for everyday life: large and small markets, a bank, baker's, chemist's, pizzerias and restaurants.

Golden sandy beach: The Sunshine House just is 5 metres away from the seaside, it takes a few short steps to dive in the clear sea of Porto Paglia. But if you fancy a stroll, you can easily get to three other sunny beaches on the same coast. The house has a kitchen where you can cook whilst enjoying wonderful views of the shores and the cliff of Pan di Zucchero. The kitchen is completely furnished and in the living room there are table and chairs. There is also a nice sitting room with armchairs and a comfortable sofa. The bathroom includes the WC, the sink and the shower. Upstairs there is a wide double bedroom, a wardrobe and an other armchair. The house is suitable for those who wants to have a relaxing holiday, visiting the real Sardinia, far from mass tourism. You can enjoy summer time and relax on the beach. Spring time and Autumn are also perfect periods to come, when temperatures are mild. If you like sports, Porto Paglia is excellent for wind-surf, surf-casting and fishing.

Rocky coast: Close to the sandy beach there is a wonderful rocky coast that is called Capo Altano.
