'Ducks Ditty' has three bedrooms, sleeping a total of up to five people. The main bedroom is a double, while the second bedroom is a twin and the third, accessible through the second, is a small single, ideal for a child or possibly the travelling carer/assistant.
The front door leads into the lounge, which includes a two-seater sofa and two armchairs, a television with Freeview box and video. The adjoining kitchen and dining area includes a dining table capable of seating five people. The kitchen includes a four ring electric hob, a low-level oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator and several low-level storage cupboards for cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, of which there is plenty.
Between the kitchen area and shower room is a storage cupboard that includes the electric meter (pound coins) and an automatic washing-machine. The shower room is especially adapted for wheelchair use, being entirely tiled and complete with a waterproof chair that can be used when showering.
There are grab-rails immediately next to the wash-basin, the shower and the toilet.
Outside the bungalow, to the front is a patio with furniture, ideal for a barbecue and evening drink. To the rear is the parking space with easy access to the back door into the kitchen area. The bungalow shares a grassed area to the rear with a rotary washing line assigned to the property.
Bed-linen and towels are provided free of charge and visitors arrive to a small supply of tea, coffee and milk. Dogs (maximum 2) are welcome but must be kept on a lead while on site. We ask that they are not left alone in the bungalow though and reserve the right to refuse certain breeds.
The bungalow is double-glazed throughout and therefore cosy during the off-peak season as well as the main summer holiday. It is one of several that we manage at Rosecraddoc, so if you have a larger party it may be possible for us to accommodate you all in more than one property.
