You look out toward the old British Naval hospital in Bighi, a classical-style building, that is now home to Malta's restoration centre. Beside you is Fort St.

Angelo, and before you the World Heritage City of Valletta, accessible in 5 minutes by boat taxi from the waterfront (or 20 minutes by bus). An international marina is behind you, together with the Maritime Museum, and the Inquisitor's Palace. You are a five minute walk from the historic town of Vittoriosa, packed full of heritage buildings to visit, including the homes of the Knights of St John.
