River Banks is a two bedroomed, modern bungalow, well-equipped for all your holiday needs. It sleeps up to 4 people in one double and one twin room, although a fifth person can be accommodated by using the bed-setee in the lounge. Situated in a small wooded valley at the foot of Bodmin Moor, this is an ideal place to 'relax and get away from it all'. You are surrounded by typical Cornish countryside while remaining within easy reach of many attractions, including Dobwalls Theme Park, Looe, Polperro and many of Cornwall's lovely National Trust properties and gardens. There is a Pub/restaurant just a short stroll away and many other eating places in the area. *** Must stress though, this is a quiet and peaceful place, not an 18-30 style holiday camp! ***

Although River Banks and our other bungalows are all wonderful places to ‘get away from it all’ and to spend time in a peaceful and relaxing environment, they are also well situated as a ‘centre’ from which to visit some of the many attractions in South-East Cornwall and South-West Devon. The fishing villages of Looe, Polperro and Mevagissey are a short drive away. Golitha Falls are just a five minute drive from Mallards. Sibleyback and Colliford Lakes, both within 20 miutes, offer fishing and watersports as well as nature walks. Ramblers have the expanse of Bodmin Moor, and even Dartmoor, given a short car trip. Garden lovers and National Trust members are spoilt for choice in Cornwall. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydroc, Boconnoc, Cothele and many more. Children can be entertained at Dobwalls Theme Park (5 minutes away), Trethorne Leisure Farm (30 minutes away), or any of the beaches on the North or South coasts.

‘River Banks’ is a cosy and well-equipped, purpose built holiday bungalow. Double-glazed throughout, it offers you comfortable, self-catering accommodation with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Entry through the sliding patio doors at the front leads into the lounge which features soft seating for six people, television with freeview top-box and video facilities, storage heater and an electric fire. The adjoining dining area comfortably seats five people Entry through the back door is directly into the well-equipped kitchen, offering a four-ring electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, spin-dryer and an ample supply of utensils. Enough here to prepare a wide range of meals for the family. The double bedroom overlooks the stream at the rear of the bungalow. The room has a wardrobe and bedside table as well as the double bed. The twin room at the front of the bungalow also offers wadrobe and bedside table.

Both bedrooms are equipped with portable electric radiators. The bathroom is equipped with w/c, sink, bath and electric shower. Outside is a small lawned area, the boundary of which is the narrow River Seaton, with farmland beyond. Garden furniture is provided. The bungalow has one allocated parking space with more available on request.
