The villa is situated on the outskirts of the small country town of Moncarapacho which has 3 supermarkets, cash machines, pharmacy, bars, excellent restaurants, a petrol station, post office and even a cyber cafe plus many more interesting shops. Within a few kms is the wonderful town of Olhao with its fishing port, wonderful fish markets, marina, restaurants and upmarket shopping. The beaches in the Algarve are superb, sandy, wide safe & clean. The beach at Tavira has been voted the 4th best beach in Europe. Many of the island beaches are accessed by small boat/train (great fun for all the family), the closest being Fuseta only 7 miles away. There are many places to eat, all of which are exceptionally good value. Markets take place in alternating towns every sunday. The Algarve has the best climate in Europe and some of the best golf courses. Within 15-25 minutes of the villa are a number of excellent courses including the championship Quinta da Cima and sister Quinta da Ria.

    Prices shown are per week in UK pounds for 8-10 people. 25% deposit required, balance due 8 wks before holiday starts. £200 breakage/insurance policy required.

    Please note: rental prices quoted include free heated pool March-end Oct. Pool normally unheated Nov-end Feb but can be heated at extra cost. However no guarantees can be given as to temp.

    Obligatory extra of £85/wk for aircon (warm and cool).

    Prefer change over day Saturday during peak season, but can be flexible all other times. Please check calendar and contact us to negotiate.

    Guests are asked to leave by 10am and new guests can arrive after 3pm. Where possible we try and accommodate early/late arrivals/departures.

Castelos is a large family villa situated on the outskirts of the small village of Moncarapacho, close to Estoi and Olhao. The surrounding area is unspoilt. Come and enjoy the real Portugal and exceptional low cost of living in the Eastern Algarve. This stylish 4 bedroom/ 4 bathroom villa has its own private south facing heated 10m x 5m swimming pool with night lighting. The pool terrace offers deep shade for hotter months and is fully equipped with sun loungers, tables, chairs. shower and large BBQ. The villa is furnished in modern style with quality furnishings throughout. The kitchen is of the highest quality with granite work surfaces, breakfast bar and exceptionally well equipped. Utility room has washing machine etc. The lounge dining area is very spacious with large sofas, open fireplace, coffee table, satellite TV (with BBC and ITV), a music system, DVD player (also plays CDs) and a small supply of DVDs. Doors lead to the pool terrace.

Off the lounge area is large dining table with seating for 8-10. The 4 bathrooms are quite luxurious, fully tiled with bath/ shower/ bidet/ toilet/ vanity unit. 2 are ensuite, one has a large corner bath. The bedrooms are exceptionally spacious and modern with floor to ceiling cupboards, dressing table, mirror, side tables and lamps. 2 bedrooms are huge ensuite rooms, one has its own fully furnished terrace. You will fight over this one!! There is a digital safe in the villa. Off road parking and property fully gated. There are 2 adult and 2 childrens bikes for your own use, indoor and outdoor games including badminton, various DVDs, CDs, books. Something for everyone. In the basement is table tennis, darts and table top football. A great family villa. Car hire essential to enjoy this holiday. 10+ mins to golf and beach islands. Shops and restaurants just 5 mins drive away. Local bistro just 800m from villa, a gentle 12-15 min walk.
