The villa is situated on the outskirts of the small country town of Moncarapacho, in a countryside development of luxury villas. Moncarapacho has 3 supermarkets, cash machines, pharmacy, bars, excellent restaurants, a petrol station, Post Office and even a cyber cafe plus many more interesting shops. Within a few kms is the wonderful town of Olhao with its fishing port, wonderful fish markets, marina, restaurants and upmarket shopping. The beaches in the Algarve are superb, sandy, wide safe & clean. The beach at Tavira has been voted the best beach in Europe. Many of the island beaches are accessed by small boat/train (great fun for all the family), the closest being Fuseta only 7 miles away, 10 mins by car. There are many places to eat, all of which are exceptionally good value. Markets take place in alternating towns every sunday. The Algarve has the best climate in Europe and some of the best golf courses.

    Guests are asked to leave by 10am and new guests can arrive after 3pm. However, where possible we will try and accommodate early / late arrivals / departures. The villa is accessible anytime after 3pm via a key access system. Directions sent 8 wks before holiday, key code given on arrival at villa.
    Car hire essential to access local shops/restaurants and fully enjoy the area.

  • All bathrooms are decorated to a very high standard, modern, fully tiled and luxurous. The master bathroom on first floor has a corner bath with shower, twin basin, WC & bidet. 2 further bathrooms with bath/shower plus a separate shower room on the ground floor.

Notes: The whole of the ground floor is very accessible. However there are 4 shallow steps to the front door and steps down to the pool which might possibly make this difficult for elderly or infirm. Lovely flat garden, pool and terrace. Excellent Welcome Book in the villa with lots of info on places to visit, local restaurants, golf, beaches and beach islands. Villa meets current Portuguese legislation and currently waiting to be awarded AL licence. Mobile internet access available on request.

Villa Ocaso - Has 2 large double ensuite bedrooms, one has its own furnished terrace and you will fight over this one!! There are 2 further spacious twin bedroom. All bedrooms have fitted floor to ceiling cupboards and aircon. There is a digital safe in the villa. The villa comfortably sleeps 8 but can accommodate up to 10 using a sturdy portable bed and portable cot. A high chair is also provided. There are 3 fully tiled luxurious bathrooms (one with a corner bath), all with bath, shower over, wc, bidet and vanity unit. There is a further shower room with wc and vanity unit. The lounge is exceptionally spacious with satellite TV (with BBC and ITV channels) DVD and music system. There is an open fireplace and doors which lead to the furnished terrace, pool and garden. The dining area off the lounge comfortably seats 10.

The very large kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for 10 people, with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hob, oven and mod cons and granite surfaces. The 10m x 5m pool is heated from March to end October free of charge. It has a large terrace with table, chairs and loungers. Night lights in pool until 11/12 pm. There is deep shade on the terrace for hotter months. Garden surrounds the pool and there is a large BBQ for alfresco dining. The pool can be heated Nov-end Feb at extra charge but no guarantees can be given re temp. This is an ideal family location to enjoy the beach, beach islands and outstanding golf. Moncarapacho is just 5 mins drive from the villa with supermarkets, restaurants etc. There is a wonderful bar/bistro 800m from the villa offering excellent inexpensive food, easy to walk to in 15+ mins and only 2 mins by car. Come and enjoy this superb villa, in a countryside setting in the unspoilt Eastern Algarve.
