Francesca is the most hospitable person and will blend over backwards to make your Italian vacation memorable..she is a master in the kitchen and will serve you the best food you have ever had. She also offers cooking lessons if you are interested in taking some of her flavours home to your kitchen. WI-FI Internet. Several restaurant nearby, typical Tuscan food such as excellent pizzeria and fish restaurants. Nearby villages offer typical festivals such as wine festival, medieval typical weekends, 'sagre toscane' with all kinds of food and attractions. Winding up to a tiny Tuscan village, a small track veers off and lead you to this peaceful and comfortable 500 years old country villa, exposed stone thick walls, terracotta floors, wooden beamed ceilings and traditional furniture are all features of the three accommodations, comfortable and all interlink - useful for larger groups. All apartments are equipped of fireplace, sofas, TV sat, and kitchen. The property enjoys both morning and evening sun...and a lovely view on the below Montecatini, olive groves and wooded hills. The spacious garden overlooks the scenic swimming pool which is set in front of the house. Lunch and dinner are served in the front patio..

We spent four great days here. Our unit was very roomy and comfortable. The kids loved the fact that they had free roam of the bush area around the house. It was lovely to wander and pick the wild flowers that covered the hills.
It was a convenient base to visit Pisa, Lucca Vinci and the hills and I'm sure many other places like Florence if you had more time than we did.
On the last night we had Francesca cook us dinner and what can I say..... it was fantastic. Even our boys, 8 and 11 loved it.
A truely great place to get away from it and experience the Tuscan hills.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
