Swallow Cottage

This was our fourth visit to Swallow Cottage and we have already booked for September!
Firstly, David, the owner is a gem! We arrived on 29th December and were greeted by a decorated Christmas tree, a bowl of satsumas and a box of mince pies!! (apart from the customary milk, tea, coffee and sugar that is always waiting). A lovely, friendly touch! And he could not be kinder or more helpful.
The cottage is spacious and comfortable. There were six adults but because each bedroom has it's own en suite bathroom( and an extra downstairs loo) there is no problem queuing in the morning!
We love the hot tub especially on freezing cold days and playing pool.
It is convenient for trips to the coast, the Moors, Castle Howard and its only a short walk from the village pub which serves lovely home cooked evening meals.
We have recommended the cottage to lots of friends but hope they don't go so there is always room for us!!
