Sandilands is an idyllic place for a holiday whether you want to lie on the beach, play golf on one of the many excellent courses in the area or just explore the Wolds and the Fens. Sutton on Sea is a mile walk along the promenade with the best fish and chips for miles around! There are a range of excellent small shops that provide everything you could want. There is also a childrens playground, multi purpose activity area and paddling pool. Mablethorpe and Skegness have good cinemas and live entertainment throughout the summer season. There are a variety of restaurants, pubs and hotels in Sutton on Sea as well as take away outlets. The Grange and Links in Sandilands does reasonably priced bar meals and has an excellent restaurant. Meals are also available at the golf club. Other local golf clubs include Woodhall Spa, Kenwick Park, Skegness North Shore, Seacroft, Louth and Woodthorpe. The market town of Louth is 30 minutes drive away and historic Lincoln 50 minutes.

    Pillows, blankets, eiderdowns and duvets are provided. Sheets, pillowcases duvetcovers and towels are not. These can be hired at £6.00 per bed per week.

The larger village of Sutton on Sea is within walking distance and provides good old fashioned hospitality. Upstairs the accommodation comprises a main twin bedded room, second bedroom with 3 beds, third single bedroom, bathroom with shower and a separate ltoilet. Downstairs The attractive lounge has an open fireplace, large refractory table, TV and video. There is a ground floor double bedroom with washbasin and a seperate loo.The kitchen and pantry are well equipped. There is also a small glass fronted porch.
