Take an excursion on the lake to Bellagio from the near by boat stop in the village and admire the lakeside scenery. Alternatively, put your feet up, pour yourself a glass of your favourite wine and do the same from your balcony!

Menaggio is ideally located to enjoy all parts of the lake, by boat, car or bus which can all be found in the centre of the village. Bellagio is just a short boat ride across the lake, famous for its paintings, silk and leather. Villa Carlotta with its majestic gardens, Villa balbianello, lakeside scenery par excellence and Villa Gaeta (as seen in the james bond movie,2006) are all close by. Como city with its gothic 14th century cathedral and pretty piazzas is well worth a visit, don't miss Alessandra Volta's musuem, lauded for his invention of electricity back in 1801. Milan for history (Leonardo Da Vinci's last supper painting), football, fashion and formula one (monza) is 1 and a 1/2 hours away. Switzerland is close to the border (30 mins by car).. San Moritz is just 2 hours away.

The apartment enjoys a spacious, luxury feel from the balcony with breathtaking lake views and the ample swimming pool to the leather clad sofa and flat screen tv, this is lakeside living that promises and delivers. 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) with a futher bedroom available downstairs via the spiral staircase featring a twin bed for 2 more guests-In total the apartment sleeps 6 guests. The living room benefits from large leather sofas, a flat screen tv and dvd plus a stylish glass dining table for 6. The state of the art modern kitchen is perfect for rustling up a romantic, candlelit meal and includes all mod cons from a dishwasher to the ample fridge freezer. Both bathrooms (1 ensuite) have been superbly designed with italian tiles and feature a shower, w/c and bidet.

The private garden is perfect for a spot of sunbathing after a long afternoons dip in the pool (as the building houses just 2 other apartments, the pool is very often available for sole use!) Off road parking is also available beneath the apartment witn a remote control security gate for added peace of mind.
