Sleeps 4 persons. Huge sun terrace (95m2), allowing day-long summer sun (but also with welcome shaded areas) from the E.S.E facing location. Quiet location, lined with palm trees and tropical gardens, with communal swimming and children's paddling pool facilities, and off-road parking. Air Conditioned Lounge & Master Bedroom, ceiling fans in all rooms, access to Terrace via lounge & master bedroom. Satellite TV, Hi-Fi, DVD/CD & VHS Player. The apartment is perfectly situated for all the local ameneties, bars, shops and restaurants, as well as horse riding and scuba diving schools, beautiful Blue Flag beaches (cleaned every day throughout the summer) water sports & beach sports(volleyball). A beautiful palm tree-lined sea-front promenade (with adjacent cycle/running track) commences approx 100m from the property, (where there is also a kiddies play area) extending two kms to the southern end of the playa. The beaches on this section have been planted with 'Palm Tree Oases'. A family-run local supermarket(100m from the property) remains open until 8.30pm every evening, from where almost everything can be purchased. Internet access is available from the local internet cafe 2mins away. The area is within a few minutes drive of several golf courses, & the renowned Desert Springs course is within 25 mins drive. The fabulous Playa Macenas course and Complex is scheduled to open later in 2008, & is 10 mins drive away.

The apartment's very generous living space comprises a spacious lounge/dining area, with air conditioning/warm air heating, and twin ceiling fans/lights, fitted kitchen(with washer, oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, juicer, coffeemaker etc), vestibule, with access to master and 2nd bedroom and 2nd bathroom. The very spacious main bedroom has super king-size double or twin bed configuration, with generous fitted wardrobes and drawer space, air conditioning/warm air heating, and ceiling fan-with-light ventilation, with en-suite bathroom-with-shower and fitted vanity units. Access from the bedroom to the huge terrace (95m2) equipped with sun loungers(4), outside dining table and chairs, drinks tables and large mobile parasols. The 2nd bedroom has twin bed configuration with drawer and wardrobe space and ceiling fan ventilation. The adjacent 2nd bathroom-with-shower has built in vanity storage units.

The spacious lounge is tastefully furnished, and is equipped with TV, VCR, DVD/CD Hi-Fi stereo sound and satellite tv decoder(bring own card, or Freesat channels). Access to the terrace is also from the lounge. All opening doors and windows have pull-up/down mosquito nets and security rejas, concertina type for the terrace and doors and 2nd bedroom window. Access to the apartment from the communal entrance area, is through security gates with phone/intercom link and remote access switch from the apartment.

I had a wonderful week at this apartment in July 2008. The apartment is simply and tastefully furnished, with everything imagineable provided. The living space is amazingly spaceous, with a particularly large master bedroom, and the terrace is huge! We spent a lot of time sunbathing there! Although there is no direct sea view from most of the terrace, the apartment's closeness to the beach, and the size of the terrace more than made up for this. Whilst it was particularly hot during our stay, I appreciated the fans in every room, and with both terrace doors open, we were usually able to enjoy a comfortable throughflow of air. We only felt we needed the air conditioning on a couple of occasions, but when we did, it was heaven!The communal pool is about one minute's walk from the apartment, and we always seemed to have it to ourselves when we used it, which we did every day. Access in to the pool area was by a locking gate, with only residents having access to it. There is also a kiddies pool there, although we had no children with us.
I was amazed how many really good restaurants and bars were within 5 mins walk, and how close to the beach we were considering how quiet it was at the apartment. There is a regular bus service along the beach road which we used all the time, not having a car during our stay. The other thing we liked about this apartment was the easy access(just one short flight of steps) and the security of the entrance gate in to the apartment block, and the metal gate over the front door, so that the front door could be left open in the heat with full security. The terrace area was also very secure, and I would think it would be very safe for children.
Taking everything in to consideration, this is probably one of the best apartments we have rented, and the owners appeared to have done their best to create the atmosphere of a comfortable home rather than a rented property.

Your appartment is absolutely lovely, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Everything you could ask for was there and we could have stayed a lot longer. We particularly enjoyed the lovely terrace (although sometimes had to sit in the shade as it was so hot!!) I think we were just getting nicely used to the heat when it was time to come home. We enjoyed visiting Fort Bravo and Mini Hollywood (Oasys) and some lovely walks along the promenade.
. A brilliant time was had by all. We would definitely come back if we return to Mojacar in the future and would not hesitate to recommend your appartment to others. Unfortunately its back to the real world for us now!
