This is a charming well-presented 3 bedroomed house, with shared pool, in a village location near Narbonne. Aesthetically converted from an ancient stone building connected with wine-making, this lovely holiday home is tastefully decorated and has its own terrace for al fresco dining. It shares a lovely swimming pool with 2 other smaller holiday properties. The owners of the property are convivial, helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The property is a great base from which to explore the Languedoc and the Mediterranean coast and sandy beaches are about 35 minutes drive away. It's ideal for a family holiday being very safe for children, or for a group of friends travelling together. The accommodation allows you to spend relaxing days in the garden and around the pool, or alternatively exploring this lovely region by car or bicycle. For more pictures, please contact us.

The centre of Ste Valiere is just a 5 minute stroll; the village is quiet & serene and nestles amongst the Minervois vineyards. In fact there's a wine producer just across the street, who can supply the local wine for your dinner or barbeque. There is a restaurant in the village and an abundance of restaurants within 5-15 minutes drive. There's a tennis court in the village - but remember to bring your racquets and balls! Cycles can be hired locally and delivered to your door. Walking or cycling is just great in the shade of the plane trees alonside the Canal du Midi. There are lots of attractions in the area - Carcassonne, Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, the beach resorts of Gruissan and Narbonne-Plage, the vineyards of the Minervois and Corbieres, the African Nature Reserve at Sigean and many more. The markets of the area are colourful and full of local seasonal produce. One of the best is on a Tuesday morning at Olonzac.

  • The rental price is all inclusive of towels, bed linen and end of stay cleaning. The owner asks for a £100 or €150 damage deposit on arrival which is refundable at the end of your holiday less the replacement cost of any breakages. Saturday to Saturday booking are normally required from mid May to the end of September.

The house has 3 floors, with 3 spacious double bedrooms each of which has quality twin beds which can be joined together to make large double beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and there is a further family shower room with washbasin and WC. On the ground floor there is a sapcious open plan area containing a well-equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area with french doors that open out onto the terrace.
